Evaporation is the process used to separate salt from seawater.

Explanation:

The the sea water is trapped in Shallow pits and is left in the sun for long. The sun's heat evaporates all the water leaving the salts behind. This mixture of salt is then purified top obtaincommon salt.

Answer:

Reverse osmosis.

Explanation:

Osmotic pressure is the excess pressure applied to pure solvent required to stop osmosis. Osmosis is the flow of solvent from area of higher to lower concentration. Reverse osmosis occurs when the pressure applied is greater than osmotic pressure. Here, solvent moves from region of low concentration to higher concentration. Thus if sea water and pure water are separated by a semi permeable membrane, by applying pressure greater than osmotic pressure, water in salt water moves into pure water.
