Convex mirrors create small image from the object because the light on the mirror surface is reflected away from the mirror. That is, it is reflected outwards. The image formed is smaller in comparison with the original object.  

Due to lack of focal point and centre of curvature, the image formed on convex mirrors cannot be projected on the screen.  It is inside the mirror. Examples of convex mirrors are passenger-side mirrors on the car, optical instruments like magnifying lenses and etc.
