convex mirror produces image which is magnified. it always do it. but concave mirror also produces magnified image. in concave mirror it depends upon the place at which object is kept. if the object is placed between the mirror and its focusing point ( focal length ) the image produced will be magnified. but if it isn't in mirror's focal length then image is diminished or small.
