ATX (Advanced Technology Extended) is a motherboard form factor uses one 20 pin connector.

ATX were officially released in July 1995 by Intel. The original ATX motherboard, often referred to as Standard ATX or Full-ATX. It was developed for general improvements on the older AT and baby AT form factors and that brought the first major changes in the motherboard design and layout along with the case and power supply as well. For power supply, it has new mounting configuration.
