Hey mate, here is your answer :

Tropomyosin blocks myosin binding sites on actin molecules, preventing cross-bridge formation and preventing contraction in a muscle without nervous input. Troponin binds to tropomyosin and helps to position it on the actin molecule; it also bindscalcium ions.

Hope this answer helps you...

Answer :-

C. Myosin

Explanation :-

  • "Myosin" is a contractile protien, which sports both structural and enzymatic traits.

  • Myosin's first and foremost function as an enzyme is to hydrolyse the A.T.P. (Adenosine Tri Phosphate) molecules which leads to the release of energy during the contraction of muscles in the body of an organism.

Extra Information :-

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Certain R.N.A. (Ribo Nucleic Acid) have also been reported to have enzymatic properties. (Eg - Ribozyme and Ribonuclease-P)
  • "Ribozymes" are the R.N.A. (Ribo Nucleic Acid) molecules that posses catalytic properties. They function in R.N.A. splitting reactions.
  • "Ribonuclease-P" separates "t-R.N.A.s" from "hn-R.N.A.s" at their "5'-ends".
