Water, sunlight, food, and shelter are some of the essentials needed for an organism to survive on earth.

Explanation:

Water:

Our planet is covered by almost 70% of water, which is found in oceans, rivers, and lakes.

Water is essential to perform many vital functions in our body such as metabolism, cell repair, and even more.

Sunlight:

It is a major source of energy and heats the planet earth to a hospitable environment.

Plants perform photosynthesis in the presence of sunlight, which in turn releases oxygen which is again an essential of survival.

Food:

Our majority of food resources are various types of plants. Mother nature has endowed a variety of plants on our planet.

Shelter:

Early men lived in caves and they were attacked by predators often. Now, we are building our own safe homes made up of concrete, to lead a good life.
