The following things must be provided for an organism to survive in planet earth -

  • Water : The most of the living organisms need water for their survival in this planet. Without water, a large amount of living organisms will die due to the dehydration.
  • Food : It's another most important necessity for the living organisms. Without the food materials (which is different for different types of living organisms) the living organisms will die due to the hunger.
  • Air : The most of the living organisms need oxygen (or, carbon dioxide) gas from the air for the respiration process which is very important for the survival.
  • Sunlight : The solar radiation is one of the main sources of the energy in our planet. That's why, the presence of sunlight is directly or indirectly a major factor behind the survival of different types of living organisms.
