Tungsten has the following properties:
1. Melting point of 3422℃ or 6192℉
2. Low vapour pressure with a temperature of 1650℃ and 3000℉
3. High tensile strength
These filaments are found in tube lights and all these properties make it suitable to use in bulbs and lights. When a high current is passed through the filament it melts and fuses the connection which prevents the tube light from glowing or working. It is a rarest metal found naturally on earth.
