The human neural system consists the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.
The central nervous system consists of the main organs called respectively brain and spinal cord. The central nervous system is a hollow, dorsally (on the upper side) placed structure lying alongside the mid-dorsal axis of the body (upper mid area is referred here). As said before, it comprises of the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is lodged into the skull with sutures and is well protected by the hard cranium and is enclosed by the vertebral column.
