The 2nd line will represents the values of x for the equation x²= 64.

Given:

Equation x² = 64

To find:

The number line represents all of the values of x for the equation x²= 64

Solution:

Given equation is x² = 64

As we know 8² = 64 and (-8)² = 64

Given equation can be written as

⇒ x² = (±8)²

Therefore, x values are +8 and -8

Now find on which number line the x value i.e +8 and -8 are represented

On 1st line p represents +8 only

On 3rd line p represents 32 which is not x value

On 4th line p represents 32 and q represents - 32

On 2nd line q represents -8  and q represents +8

Therefore,

The 2nd line will represents the values of x for the equation x²= 64.
