Let x should be subtracted

According to Question

$\sf ~~~~~~~\implies \dfrac{11}{12} - x = \dfrac{-3}{4}$

$\sf ~~~~~~~ \implies - x = \dfrac{-3}{4} - \dfrac{11}{12}$

$\sf ~~~~~~~ \implies - x = \dfrac{ - 9 - 11}{12}$

$\sf ~~~~~~~ \implies - x = \dfrac{ - 20}{12}$

$\sf ~~~~~~~\implies x = \dfrac{10}{6}$

$\sf ~~~~~~~\implies x = \dfrac{5}{3}$

• Hence 5/3 should be subtracted from 11/12 so that we obtain -3/4.
