The Pacific Ocean covers vast amount of tertiary it is also call as "North Pacific Ocean" because, it is in south of the equator. The border of Pacific Ocean is "western coast of South America" as well as many of  "islands of Oceania" as well Australia, "Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand".

The area of "Atlantic Ocean" is about 41,100,000 square miles. Most of part of "Atlantic Ocean" is in western hemisphere. The amount of water is increasing in ocean is reason of floods.
