★ Fractional distillation :–

Fractional distillation is a type of distillation process which helps in the separation of miscible liquids.

This method/process is carried out by repeated distillations and condensations of the mixture and the mixture finally gets separated into its component parts.

The separation happens when the mixture is heated at a certain temperature where fractions of the mixture start to vaporize.

★ Conditions for fractional distillation :-

Generally, fractional distillation can be carried out only when the difference of the boling points of the component parts is less than 25°C (under a pressure of 1 atm).

★ Fractional distillation of liquid air (resulting gases) :-

Air is a mixture of many gases. It mainly conatins nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%).

Hence, fractional distillation of liquid air mainly yields these two gases (nitrogen & oxygen).

Therefore, your answer is oxygen.
