Which of the element will form acidic oxide whose atomic number is 6,12,16?

Element with atomic number16 will form acidic oxide.

Electeonic configuration of this element is=2,8,6

And we know that nonmetal contain valence electrons ranges from6to8.And we also know the concept that non-metallic oxides are acidic in nature.

Hence element with valence electron 6 would be non-metal hence it forms acidic oxide......

Hence from these configurations we can see that for Element X of atomic number 6 ,, it belongs to the (6+10)th group of the periodic table i.e, 16 th group which is the non metallic group . From the question we can say that the elements which are non-metallic forms acidic oxides. So element of atomic number 16 is the required answer .
