By using first linear motion equation,

   V = U + at\\ a = (V-U)/t---- (1)

Then we can substitute above result into a another linear motion equation to get the answer.

V^{2} = U^{2} + 2aS\\ S = (V^{2} - U^{2})/ 2a\\ S =  (V^{2} - U^{2})/ 2[(V-U)/t]

S = (V-U)*(V+U)*t/[2(V-U)]\\ S = (V+U)t/2

Answer : S= (V+U)t/2
