Adding of scalar component of the vector to the same vector is not possible

Properties of scalar and vector quantities:

  1. Two vectors can always be added
  2. Addition of vector to a scalar is not possible
  3. Multiplication of vector can be done with a scalar which changes the magnitude of vector
  4. A vector componet is also a vector,so we can add a vector with its component
