Tertiary consumers are are eaten by quaternary consumers -- an example is a hawk that eats owls

Marine Tertiary Consumers. There are many examples of tertiary consumers in marine ecosystems. The primary producers of the oceans, phytoplankton, are generally consumed by microscopic organisms called zooplankton, and so the numerous animals that feed on the zooplankton are secondary consumers.

Hope this helps you!

dakshg900: Thx
dakshg900: But I am not understanding which answer is correct
ZukaroZama: ^-^!!!!;
Shaurya13579: Both had written secondary consumer so the answer is secondary consumer.
ZukaroZama: But dear tertiary consumers can be carnivores or omnivores. Their diet can comprise only meat or include plants as well. A hawk, for example, can feed on primary consumers such as birds, as well as secondary consumers such as snakes.
ZukaroZama: So I think tertiary sector is the answer!!
ZukaroZama: U can also try to search it on gugu :)
