Which of the following are quadratic equations?
(i)x^{2}-6x+4=0
(ii)\sqrt{3}x^{2}-2x+\frac{1}{2} =0
(iii)x^{2}+\frac{1}{x^{2} }=5

METHOD TO CHECK whether the given equation is quadratic or not :  

To check whether a given equation is  quadratic or not  first write the given equation in its simplest form and then compare the equation with the standard form of a quadratic equation, i.e. ax² + bx + c = 0 , a ≠0 .

If the given equation follows the form of quadratic equation (ax² + bx + c = 0), then it is a quadratic equation otherwise not.
