The sun's heat evaporates the water from ponds, rivers, lakes, seas and oceans. This water becomes water vapor and reaches great heights. When it goes above the atmosphere, it cools down and Condensation occurs, i.e. The water vapor becomes water droplets and combine with one another to form clouds. Clouds have a large amount of water droplets. When the cloud has reached its maximum ability of having water droplets, it releases teh water droplets as rain to the earth's surface.
