Answer:

2 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 6 + 6 + 8 + 8 + 10 + 10 / 10

= 60/ 10

= 6 is the average

as same , there is a formula of mode so correct answer is MOD that is number 4.

Option D is the correct answer.

Mode is the average that cannot be calculated for given observations.

  • given observations - 2,2,4,4,6,6,8,8,10,10
  • Formula for mean is -Sum of all observations/Number of observations

Mean = 2+2+4+4+6+6+8+8+10+10/ 10=6

  • Formula for median is - [(n/2)th observation+ ((n/2) + 1)th observation]/2

Median = (6+6)/ 2 = 12/2 = 6

  • Formula for mode is - observation with maximum frequency.

Now in the above data all the observations occur exactly two times i.e. the frequency is 2 for all the observations. It is the maximum frequency. Therefore, mode cannot be calculated for the given data.
