The promoting of oneself can be accomplished by face-to - face chats, forums , social media , public discourses or even speech, etiquette, posture, or dressing. Self-promotion is a natural trend that we want others to feel that we have great qualities such as intellectual ability and talent.

• Self-promotion is part of an incredibly general yet omnipresent motivation of man: to be viewed favorably by others. In the case of self-promotion, many people want to be seen by others as someone who is competent. Not unexpectedly, though, people usually only promote themselves in public and impress people  such as superiors at work
