Which of the following can be separated by using a separating funnel and which cannot be separated:
i) Water and Kerosine mixture
ii) Water and Acetone mixture

water and kerosene can be separated frm separating funnel as both of dem r immiscible and have different densities..there they make separate layers when left undisturbed for some time and we separate it..but in case of water and acetone..they mix with each other and therefore we cant separate it by separating funnel

Water and kerosene can be separated using funnel because they won't get mixed up whereas water and acetone can't be separated using funnel
