From the following  (a) 2.3 and  (b)-1.5  cannot be the probability of an event.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know  0\leq \textrm{P(E)}\leq 1

Probability of an even always lies between 0 and 1

In this case (a) 2.3 is not a probability of an event as it exceeds than 1

and (b) -1.5 is also not a probability of an event as it is negative. Probability of an event can not be negative.

(c) 15%=0.15 is a probability of an event as it lies between 0 and 1

(d) 0.7 is also a probability of an event as it also lies between 0 and 1
