SOLUTION :  

The correct option is (b) : - 1.5  

The probability of an event cannot be - 1.5 because Probability of an event can never be negative.


★★ The probability of happening of an event always lies between 0 to 1 (0 and 1 inclusive) i.e 0 ≤ P(E) ≤ 1 . Also in percentage, it lies between 0 % to 100 %(0 and 100 inclusive) .

★★ The sum of the probabilities of complementary events of an experiment is 1.

P(Event) + P (not an Event) = 1.
