C is the correct answer as prokaryotes lack a well defined nucleus..
They have nucleoid(an irregularly shaped region without a membrane with the genetic material)...

The answer is c. prokaryotes do not have nucleus.

A prokaryote is considered to be the unicellular organism which lacks in membrane-bound nucleus, mitochondria or any other membrane bound organelle.

Prokaryotes are sub divided into two domains such as Bacteria and Archaea.

In other words, species with organelles and nuclei are placed in the domain eukaryote.
