Answer:
according to law of multiple proportions, when two elements combine to form more than one compound, the mass of one element, which combines with a fixed mass of the other element, will always be in simple ratio.
for example, if C and O combine two form CO and CO2,
here in CO , 12g of C ⇔16 g of O
or, 1g of C ⇔ 1.33g of O
in CO2, 12g of C ⇔ 32g of O
or, 1g of C ⇔ 2.66 of O
it is clear that 1.33 : 2.66 = 1 : 2 is in simple ratio so, CO and CO2 follows law of multiple proportions.
from above explanation, all the first three options follow the law but last option , (d) Na2S , NaF doesn't follow. because here three elements are given Na, S and F . but law of multiple proportions is valid for two elements.
