International Army Games 2018 had been conducted at the 24 practice grounds in seven countries particularly  Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, and Russia from July 28 to August 11.

It is for the first time in the history that  Iran and Armenia are co-hosting tournaments of the Army Games. Indian teams had  became the leading part of the tournaments in two significant competitions– Tank Biathlon event at Alabino ranges, Moscow region and Elbrus Ring games in Caucasus mountains. The opening ceremony was attended by the Indian Ambassador to Russia, Pankaj Saran and also accompanied with other Indian who attended the opening ceremony.
