It is definitely a very interesting question to solve and do some brainstorming.

The correct answer is a. Cow pox material

Edward Jenner was known as the “Father of Immunology”  was an English scientist. He is widely recognised for his discovery of smallpox vaccine and till date remains the only effective preventive treatment for the fatal smallpox disease. In 1980, smallpox was finally an eliminated disease.
On May 14, 1796, Jenner extracted fluid from a cowpox blister and immediately scratched it into the skin of an eight-year-old boy James Phipps. A single blister arised on the spot, but James recovered fully. Again on July 1, Jenner inoculated the same boy again but this time with smallpox matter. he finally observed that no disease developed further in James body.
Hence, the vaccine was a success.
