In my opinion all the given options in this question are wrong. It means that all the given names of animals are vertebrates and they do have backbone.
Snake, whale and walrus are vertebrates and they all have backbone. Sharks are also vertebrates and they do have spinal column with a spinal cord. However a unique feature to note is that their bones are entirely made up of cartilaginous material (half the density of bones) and connective tissue, unlike vertebrates.
The major difference between shark and other given options (snake,walrus and whale) is that shark's skeleton is composed of cartilages not bones.
