The body does not excrete oxygen.

  • Oxygen enters the lungs and exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen takes place within the alveoli of lungs. Therefore, carbon dioxide gets released from the body.
  • The body loses water as it excretes in the form of urine after blood filtration takes place in the kidneys.
  • Most of the uric acid gets filtered and removed through the urine.
  • Sweat is also a medium by which the body releases water and other minerals.
  • Waste products, either nitrogenous or non-nitrogenous get excreted from the body via kidneys or other ways.
