yes it is a quadratic equation
as the highest power of the variable is two

Kapil133: yes
sharry9: then what is about x²-2x+5=x²
Kapil133: is linear equation and ans is 5÷2
sharry9: thank q

x²+2x+11
it has no zeroes because
D=(b)²-4ac
=(2)²-4(1)(11)
=4-44
=-40
since discriminant is less than zero.
hence it has no zero.
I hope it works.(and would be brainiest).

sharry9: thanks
mohitgurung626: :)
Ackrigo: This indeed is a quadratic equation due to highest power being 2 but it has complex roots and hence it is a complex quadratic equation and not an algebraic quadratric equation. You can find this by the value of D(Determinant) given as above
Kapil133: discriminating is minus so it has imaginary zero
sharry9: hmmm.... thank q
