Given : A -103x-6=-6x-103

B -6x-6=103x-103

C -6x-6=-6x-103

D 103x-6=103x-103

To Find : equations which have exactly one solution

Solution:

A -103x-6=-6x-103

=>  -97x  = -97

=> x = 1

exactly one solution

B -6x-6=103x-103

=> -109x = -97

=> x = 97/109

exactly one solution

C -6x-6=-6x-103

cancel -6x from both sides

=>  -6 = - 103

not possible  , no solution

D 103x-6=103x-103

cancel 103x from both sides

=> -6 = - 103

not possible  , no solution

A -103x-6=-6x-103   and  B -6x-6=103x-103  have exactly one solution
