Given :  A graph  passing through ( 3 , 0) and ( 0 , 2)

To Find : Equation of the line

2x + y = 6

y + 2x = 4

3y + 2x = 6

2x - 3y = 6

Solution:

Let say Equation of the line is

y = mx  + c

x = 0 , y = 2 is one point

=> 2 = 0 + c

=> c = 2

Hence y = mx + 2

x = 3  , y = 0 is one point

=> 0 = 3m + 2

=> 3m = - 2

=>  m = - 2/3

y = (-2/3)x + 2

=> 3y = -2x + 6

=> 2x + 3y  = 6

2x + 3y  = 6 is the Equation of the line
