option A is not observed

rashmiigupta9: give reasons for your answer
tarika2411ar: during depolarization the Na K pump is closed and K voltage gates channels are closed ..hence there is no role of K in active potential or depolarization ...plz mark it as brainliest

Here, option A is the correct answer.

When a electrical stimulus is received by a nerve fibre a potential action gets generated.

Therefore the membrane becomes porous to the sodium ions as compared to the potassium ions.

Therefore, this gives rise to a positive amount of charge inside of the nerve fibre while the outside has negative charge.

The membrane thereby becomes depolarized.
