A . Abscisic acid (ABA) is a plant hormone. ABA functions in many plant developmental processes, including seed and bud dormancy, the control of organ size and stomatal closure.

B. Ethylene is a small hydrocarbon gas. It is naturally occurring, but it can also occur as a result of combustion and other processes. You can't see or smell it. Some fruit will produce ethylene as ripening begins. Apples and pears are examples of fruit that produce ethylene with ripening.

C. Auxin is a plant hormone produced in the stem tip that promotes cell elongation. Auxin moves to the darker side of the plant, causing the cells there to grow larger than corresponding cells on the lighter side of the plant.

D. Gibberellins (GAs) are plant hormones that regulate various developmental processes, including stem elongation, germination, dormancy, flowering, flower development and leaf and fruit senescence.

all these are plant hormones

absicisic acid is like a negative hormone which causes faster ageing.but it helps the seeds to withstand harsh conditions

ethylene is for artificial ripening of fruits.its a gaseous hormone

auxin helps for elongation of seed.and apical dominance

gibberellin helps for cell elongation as well as for cell growth.it also promotes apical dominance
