Pauli's Exclusion Principle States that : Pairing of Electrons in the Orbitals belonging to same Sub-shell does not take place until each Orbital belonging to that Sub-shell has got one Electron each.

Now, Consider Options (a) - (c) - (e) :

We can Notice that : In these Electronic Configurations, Pairing of Electrons started before each Orbital is filled with One Electron. So, These Electronic Configurations violate the Pauli's Exclusion Principle. Hence, They are not Valid Electronic Configurations.

Consider Option (b) :

We know that : While filling Electrons in the Orbitals of a Sub-shell, The Electrons with Positive Spin are filled first until each Orbital is occupied with One Electron of Positive Spin. After this Pairing Starts from the First Orbital by filling each Orbital with Electrons having Negative Spin. But, The Given Electronic Configuration shows that Electrons with Negative Spin are filled first before the filling of Electrons with Positive Spin. Hence, This Electronic Configuration is not a Valid one.

The Correct Electronic Configuration which Obeys all the Principles of Filling of Orbitals in an Atom is Option (d)
