rectangle area=l*b
                       =408 cm2
square=a2
           =441cm2
so therefore square of side 21 cm has larger area by 441-408=33cm

hello frnd!!

here's ur answer...

given:-

length of rectangle=24cm

breadth of rectangle=17cm

therefore area if the rectangle=l×b

=24×17

=408cm²

side of the square=21cm

area of the square=side×side

=21×21

=441cm²

area of square is more by=441-408

=33cm²

hope this helps...
