area of rectangle is 42×28=1176 CM ^2

and area of square is 6×39^2=3042 CM ^2
and by 1866

for \: rectangle  \\ l = 42cm \\ b = 28cm \\ area \: of \: rectangle = l \times b \\  42 \times 28 = 1176 sq.cm
for \: square \\ side = 39 \\ area \: of \: square =  {side}^{2}  \\  {39}^{2}  = 1521 {cm}^{2}
Therefore,Square has larger area
