The highest amount of energy is stored in the (b) Fats.

Fats have the highest amount of energy stored in them while the carbohydrates form the quickest form that gives energy.

Fats contain glycerol and fatty acids though fat is considered as a substance that increases the weight of a person it is completely required for the growth and metabolism of an individual. It is also an ideal requirement for the "production" of hormones.
