The Sivalik Hills, also identified as Churia Hills, is an elevation range of the exterior Himalayas that extends from the Indus River nearly 2,400 km eastwards close to the Brahmaputra River. It is 10–50 km wide with an ordinary elevation of 1,500–2,000 m. it is known for having the oldest rocks in the country.
