Given :

a.2x²+5x-7

b.2x-11=5x²

c.5x-2=14

d.7x_< 2x²-5

To Find : which one  illustrates a quadratic equation

Solution:

a quadratic equation is expressed in the form

ax² + bx + c  = 0

where a , b and c are real numbers  ,  a≠ 0

2x²+5x-7

this does not have = sign so this is not an equation

this is Quadratic expression / polynomial

2x-11=5x²

0 = 5x² - 2x + 11

=> 5x² - 2x + 11 = 0

this is in the form ax² + bx + c  = 0

Hence This is Quadratic Equation

5x-2=14

=> 5x - 16 = 0

there is no x²  term hence not Quadratic

This is linear Equation

7x  ≤  2x²-5

2x² -7x - 5 ≥ 0

This is Quadratic inequality  not an equation

Hence Correct answer is

2x-11=5x²   illustrates a quadratic equation
