- It seperates positive ions (cations) from negative ions (anions) by passing electricity.
- This method can be used to seperate any charged ions. Uncharged/neutral molecules cant be differentiated with electrodialysis.
- FeCl3 being polar solvent therefore can be separated by electrodiysis.
