Ion pulled out in apoplast:

• The option “A” is correct i.e. K+ (potassium)

• K+ ion is pulled out in apoplast by auxin during growth.

•  During stomatal closure, auxin pulled out K+ ions inside the stomata. This generates an osmotic potential and water is drained from the proximate epidermal cells. Due to the removal of water, the guard cells swell and stomata open. As the osmotic potential is augmented, the speed of translocation is increased which helps in the growth and growth of the plant.
