It's function is of ""Nitrogen fixation"" in leguminous plants.....
for ex:- gram, peas,etc.
Rhizobium bacteria lives in the root nodules of leguminous plants and provides the nitrogen to plants in form of nitrates converted by them from atmosphere....!!
