→we have for every number m>1, we have (2m, m2-1, m2+1) as a Pythagorean triplet

→ Using the above condition we can write as,

⇒ 2m=8

⇒ m=8/2=4

→ Then m2=16.

⇒ m2 – 1 = 16 – 1 = 15

⇒ m2 + 1 = 16 + 1 =17

Therefore the Pythagorean triplet is = (2m, m2-1, m2+1) = (8, 15, 17)
