Solution :-

we know that, If m and n be two rational numbers such that m < n then,

  • 1/2(m + n) is a rational number between m and n.

given that,

  • m = 4
  • n = 8
  • and, m < n .

So,

→ a rational numbers between 4 and 8 = (1/2)[4 + 8] = (1/2) * 12 = 6 (Option B) (Ans.)

Hence, a rational numbers between 4 and 8 is 6 .
