Which of the following is a trimerous symmetric flower.

a) cactus b) lily c) fern d) cycas

Answer: b) Lily

Reason for the answer: From the axis of the flower we can put three bisecting lines at 60° to each other which will results in symmetry of the flower. Hence Lily has trimerous symmetry. There are several other flowers which have trimerous symmetry.
