Given :- Which of the following is always a common factor between two numbers ?

Solution :-

Let us take some examples :-

checking factors of (8, 15, 24, 70)

→ 8 = 1 * 2 * 2

→ 15 = 1 * 3 * 5

→ 24 = 1 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

→ 70 = 1 * 2 * 5 * 7

as we can see that, 1 is factor of all the numbers . Therefore, we can conclude that, 1 is factor of all the numbers .

Hence, 1 is always a common factor between two numbers .

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:- Which of the following is always a common factor between two numbers.

A) 1

B) 2

C) 3

D) 5

SOLUTION:-

Let the numbers 12, 18, 7, 5.

By finding the common factor between two random numbers,

1) 12 and 18.

12 = 1×2×2×3

\underline{18\: = \:1×2×3×3}

C.F = 1,2,3

2) 5 and 7

5 = 1×5

\underline{7\:=\:1×7}

C.F = 1

From above we get that for every numbers common factor ( C.F) will be 1 definately.

Therefore, correct option is (A) 1.

THANKS.
