Answer:

A reaction in which an element in a higher oxidation state reacts with the same element in a lower oxidation state to give the element in an intermediate oxidation state is known as comproportionation or symproportionation.

The reactions of options (A), (B), (C) and (D) are examples of comproportionation or symproportionation reaction.

Answer:

Compropotionation rxn means two different reactants with same element in their compound reacts to give a a product with common oxidation state.

Ex: ClO- + Cl- -------> Cl2 + OH-

Here, in reactant side , Cl of ClO- has +1 ox. state and another Cl of Cl- has -1 ox.state. these two different ox. states gives Cl2 , where the ox.state of Cl in Cl2 is 0. (A common ox.state)
