Given : Few real numbers

A. 3.456733244…

B. 3.4

C. ∞

D. ∛4

To Find :  Which is Rational number

Solution:

Rational numbers are real numbers which can be written in the form p/q where p and q are integers and q≠0

All real numbers which are not rational  are irrationals.

Rational numbers are terminating decimals or non terminating recurring decimal.

Irrational numbers are non terminating non-recurring decimals

3.456733244…  is  non terminating non-recurring decimal

Hence Irrational

3.4 =      Terminating decimal  hence Rational Number

or 3.4 = 34/10  = 17/5

 in p/q form where p ,q are integers  and q ≠ 0

∞ is of form  of p/q  where q = 0  Hence not a rational numbers

∛4  is irrational Number

Hence an example of a rational number  is 3.4
